Adina Taubman(Playwright/Performer) Most recently, Adina performed a new version of A Line in the Sand, her one person docudrama about the Columbine High School shootings, at The United Solo Theatre Festival in 2010, at The Moondance International Film Festival in 2009, where she received the award for Best Stageplay. and at The Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York City in 2007, where she received the award for Outstanding Production of a Solo Show.  She has performed earlier versions of the play at both the New York International Fringe Festival (2001), the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival (2003), and at Foothill Theatre Company in Nevada City, CA (2006).  For her first play, Tell Me About Adina, based on the life of her grandmother after whom she was named, she was nominated for a Bay Area Theater Critics Circle award for Best Solo Performance.  Adina toured with TheatreWorksUSA playing the role of Aunt Willie in Summer of the Swans. She is a co-founder of Atolas Theatre Company in New York City. For their inaugural production, Little Egypt, she played the role of Bernadette.  Adina’s other New York credits include:  Mary in The Blow Up, part of the Estrogenius 2002 Festival at Manhattan Theatre Source, and various roles at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Pulse Ensemble Theatre, and The Gallery Players.  She received her MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and performed in the Bay Area at Center Rep as Jessica in The Merchant of Venice and at Shakespeare at the Beach as Phebe in As You Like It, among other theaters.  She is the proud mother of Emma (6 years old) and Madeleine (3 years old).

Padraic Lillis (director) This season Padraic directed UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL at Geva Theater, in Rochester, NY and the Ten Minute Play Festival for NYU’s Department of Dramatic Writing, and most recently had a workshop of his play SEVEN MINUTES OF SILENCE with the LAByrinth Theater Company. Other directing credits include: Scott Hudson’s SWEET STORM with Alchemy Theatre in Association with LAByrinth Theater Company and Michael Puzzo’s THE DIRTY TALK with Spare Change Productions (nominated for New York Innovative Theater Award for Outstanding Director) RECREATING KEITER for Bridge Club Productions, which he also wrote additional material. He also directed A LINE IN THE SAND at Foothill Theatre Company in Nevada City, CA and at The Midtown International Theatre Festival (Awarded Best Production) and was the dramaturge for BOY IN THE BATHROOM for the NYMF (Awarded best book). He has worked with New York Theater Workshop, The Public Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, The McCarter Theater, Portland Stage Company, and The Playwrights Center of Minneapolis. He directed the National Tour of SHE LOVES ME.  His play TWO THIRDS HOME was produced in New York by the Broken Watch Theater and is published by Dramatist Play Services, Inc. Padraic is an adjunct professor with the Department of Dramatic Writing at NYU, Artist-in-Residence with Alchemy Theater, a company member of the LAByrinth Theater, an alumni of The Drama League Director’s Project, and a lifelong Yankee fan.

Lea Umberger (Set/Costume Designer) Lea is happy to add this production to the list of design work with Padraic Lillis. Previous collaborations include, Underneath The Lintel (Geva Theatre Company), SweetStorm (Alchemy Theatre Company and LAByrinth),Umbrella (Alchemy Theatre Co.), Savage in Limbo (Sheperds. at 78th Street Theater Lab), The Dirty Talk (Center Stage and NYC Fringe 2005), Recreating Keiter (Manhattan Theater Source), Foul Stench of Death (NYC), and Taming of the Shrew (Summer Rep, New Paltz, NY). Other design credits include Richard 3 (costumes-Judith Shakespeare), The Rape of Lucrece (set and costume- Washington Shakespeare Company) and The Laramie Project (set and costume-Pittsburgh Public Theater). Elizabeth Rhodes (Sound Designer) New York credits include the world premiere of Steve Martin's adaptation of THE UNDERPANTS, the premieres of John Patrick Shanley's DIRTY STORY and SAILOR SONG. LAByrinth credits include Stephen Belber's A SMALL MELODRAMATIC STORY, Robert Glaudini's DUTCH HEART OF MAN and Erin Cressida Wilson's TRAIL OF HER INNER THIGH. Jessica J. Felix (Production Manager) As well as a production manager, Jessica is an accomplished Stage Manager. Past stage management credits include: Off-Broadway: Sweet Storm, Umbrella, Above Hell's Kitchen. Off-Off Broadway working with theatre companies: BrokenWatch, Thirteenth Night, Stages on The Sound, Flux Theatre Ensemble, GUTWorks, Write Club NYC, and 13th Street Repertory. Other credits include stage managing several readings for The Public and NYU.  During the university semesters she works at NYU with Suzan-Lori Parks and makes a mean mocha in Brooklyn.
